School of Engineering of Technology
- In India there is a need to produce highly professional and competent engineers. This could be done by imparting quality knowledge to students. To meet this objective, K R Mangalam group has established “School of Engineering and Technology” at Greater Kailash-1 Campus.
- The Engineering programme is being offerd by IGNOU and SAPET (an Educational Trust). The main objective of IGNOU and SAPET is to jointly create and develop innovative and cost effective programmes in various areas of Engineering and Technology at various levels. For the present the engineering programmes are being offered in the following branches:-
- Computer Science and Enginneering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- The Engineering Programme Structure shall be prescribed by IGNOU. At “K. R. Mangalam School of Engineering and Technology”, excellent laboratories have been set up by the experts. Highly qualified and experienced faculty has been taken, to conduct the programme. Examination Evaluation and Certification shall be done by IGNOU. The Engineering programme is being offered all over the country and abroad.
- After 10+2 course, BTech. Degree programme would be of four years duration. There would also be provision for lateral entry as well, where in a three year programme would be offered. Students with any one of the following qualifications would be eligible for the lateral entry :-
- Three year Diploma in any branch of Engineering
- BSc. (PCM)
- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
- Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) or equivalent
- Admission to the IGNOU – SAPET Engineering programmes is offered through an aptitude test “IGNOU Engineering Aptitude Test” (IGNEAT 2009) to be held during September 6-13, 2009, at the designated centres.

- Issuance of Application 03 Aug 2009
- Last Date of Submission of Application 24 Sep 2009
- Aptitude Test IGNEAT 2009 6 to 13 Oct 2009
- Announcement of Results 21 Oct 2009
- Admission and Counselling 2nd week of Nov 2009
- Student Handbook & Prospectus for IGNOU-SAPET Engineering Programme 2009 can be obtained from School of Engineering and Technology, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi by paying Rs 500/= in cash or by sending a sum of Rs 550/= through a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “Indira Gandhi National Open University” payable at New Delhi.Handbook & Prospectus would also be available at K R Mangalam School of Engineering and Technology, N –Block , Greater Kailash-1 (Near South Delhi Club), New Delhi-110048
