K. R. Mangalam Institutions of Higher Education situated in the heart of South Delhi hosted the Consultative Meet for its new upcoming programme Masters Degree in Hospital Management at Indian Habitat Centre, New Delhi on June 27, 2010. Meeting was attended by renowned doctors and administrators of top Hospitals in Delhi and NCR’s. Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Director General -K.R. Mangalam announced the launch of the course under the banner of K.R. Mangalam Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences. Chief Guest Dr. Vinay Aggarwal, Chairman –Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital and Dr. Vijay Aggarwal, Executive Director-Pushpanjali; highlighted the need for launching the Hospital Management Program that should fulfill the present gap. With Indian healthcare services meeting international standards more and more patients from the west are coming over for treatment. With rising emphasis on services this sector is poised to see voluminous growth in the coming years. So the importance of imparting the technical knowledge to the people for the administrative functioning is of key importance. Students enrolled to this program will be given overview of all the departments and will be trained to handle both the clinical and service sectors of hospital. School plans to have many further meetings in the future to keep up with the changing industry.
